Main Responsibilities:
- Formulate and address all related needs in IT for the region together with Global IT team in France
- Make sure a strict adherence to all Global IT policies of Emerson and Leroy Somer.
- Improve the IT by new projects inside the company to meet the business needs
- Generalize the written procedures.
- Monitor IT spending against the budget and make the forecast.
- Ensure the data security (backup/access restriction/Disaster Recovery Plan)
- Manage the local helpdesk

• IT Manager of 10 sites in Asia-Pacific and fully manage 2 sites (Fuzhou/Singapore)
• Manage a team of 3 persons in Fuzhou (1 ERP specialist/2 Network specialist)
• Formulate and address all related needs in IT for the region together with Global IT team in France
• Make sure a strict adherence to all Global IT policies of Emerson and Leroy Somer.

Main Projects:
• AD and Exchange Server Migration of the Fuzhou site into the Global IT based in France
• AD and Exchange Server Migration of the Singapore site into the Global IT based in France
• New factory (23,000 m²) IT Infrastructure management (LAN, WLAN, servers with virtualization, IT Room, computers migration) :
o Request For Proposal writing
o Sourcing and selection of suppliers
o Planning and coordination between the different suppliers
• VOIP feasibility study (Cisco/Nortel)
• Disaster recovery plan redaction. DRP application on real environment because of a water leakage on the IT Room. Recovery Time: 60Hours.
• 2 Customizations of the ERP (FourthShift):
o Demand Stream: lean manufacturing management.
o PO Validation Control: Integrate the local purchasing system in the Global purchasing system based in France.
