ifa gallery has a space of 800 sq.m. located in an industrial building of M50 in Shanghai.
M50 is situated on Moganshan Road, 15 minutes driving from the downtown.
The complex is a former textile factory of around 20 buildings built from the 30's to the 80's.
In the 90's, some local artists settled their own studio there.
M50 and the entire road became the first and most dynamic art district in Shanghai with the apparition of major galleries and art spaces in early 2000.
ifa gallery aims to encourage work of emerging or recognised artists from any horizons, Chinese and foreigners who are mostly working in China.
The first principle of the ifa gallery is freedom, freedom that gives space to different contemporary art medium.
