Currently working at Bureau Veritas Plan Approval Office in China as Head of our Safety & Statutory Department.
This position gives me a good view of technical and legal issues in shipbuilding industry.
It consists in assessing the compliance to BV and statutory regulations of ships built in China with BV Class and ensuring technical supervision/training of our Safety engineers.
One of my roles is also to support our New Construction/Ship-in-service Depts' and contracting shipyards in understanding and application of applicable regulations.

In charge of projects built in China such as:
- LPG Carriers;
- Oil tankers;
- Chemical tankers;
- Asphalt carriers;
- Offshore Support Vessels (carriage of Cargo oil, chemical products, oil recovery, standby rescue vessel...).
