My-Man Anne TRAN
Vice-President Program, French Junior Chamber
I am French born chinese, with a double master degree in biosciences and marketing intelligence.
After getting some experience in a lab in Singapore and in sanofi-aventis cardiometabolic global marketing team, I joined bioMerieux in Jan 2008 as a product manager.
I am now in charge of a endocrinology/oncology product range, as well as the market penetration of a new segment of 22,000 hospitals in Mainland China.
I am also the main marketing interface with Corporate for strategic orientations: new product development, manufacturing transfer, acquisitions...
Dynamic, enthusiastic and ambitious are the main adjectives people use to qualify my personnality. I like new challenges, creativity and human contacts.
In charge of different product ranges which cover automated immunoassays and rapid tests (Point of Care testing), my product manager role has been enlarged to strategic/prospective marketing by creating new business models, assessing market potential for new products/local manufacturing, recommending strategic plan for new market development, proposing innovative approaches, etc..
It implicates "reverse innovation" by having Corporate strategy adapted to the local one (in opposition to "glocalization" which had been employed for decades in mature countries)
The diseases covered by my range of products are:
- endocrinology
- oncology
- fertility disorders/pregnancy
- Hepatitis/AIDS
- Congenital diseases
- cardiovascular diseases
- Sexual Transmitted Diseases
Nominated in 2008 as the President of Club VIE (association which gathers 300 young french expatriates in Shanghai).
