With a passion for internet and new technologies, I am lucky enough to have a job which totally matches with my passion.
On the web since its first hours in France (AOL, MSN & Wanadoo beta tester in the 1996s) I work on it since the year 2000, managing websites and doing online marketing.
With a double profile in Marketing and e-Business Projects Management, I’m mostly specialized in online marketing, focused on SEO & SEM…
My human management skills and web technical knowledge allow me to drive technical choices towards real business objectives. I manage web development teams by taking into account both the customer/user experience and the ROI for the company.
This double profile therefore allows me to draw ambitious web strategies and to take the proper actions to achieve them.
Living in China since 2006, I conduct a multi-cultural team management (Chinese, African, American and French team) in a country for which the « cultural gap » is not just a word.
Besides my online activities, I manage the Shanghai office of the French company I’m working for, with all the budget, accounting, HR and administrative challenges it includes.
My mission since the start has been to fuel the growth of the company through an inovative web strategy and performing marketing campaigns generating qualified leads.
From 1m Euro turnover in 2008 (10 employees) we have reached 23m Euro in 2011 (100 employees).
This spectacular growth also required to define, develop and deploy IT tools to properly structure the work from our teams and to make sure quality processes are followed.

In charge of building & managing 3 departments (Online Marketing, Dev/IT, Content) to manage 3 main activities:
- Defining the web strategy and supervising the execution. Launching, maintenance and animation of about 35 dedicated websites. Launching of about 6 to 8 new sites per year.
- Managing the online marketing campaigns and strategy with a big involvement in SEO and SEM but also banner campaigns, affiliation, retargeting, shopingbots, emailing and social media.
- Setting up and hyper-customization of an open source CRM tool to supervise customer relationship process with 3 major objectives:
* enhancing the customer experience by improving the quality of the sales and after sales relationship
* enhancing the user experience to obtain better productivity savings through the automatisation of time consuming tasks
* setting up a precise and almost real time monitoring tool in order to control the activities of the company and to deduct from these data what should be the next improvements.
In charge as well of the Shanghai Office (WFOE):
- Supervising the branch budget & approving daily expenses
- Supervising the accounting & legal procedures regarding the WFOE (Account auditing, Business license renewal, Capital raising & replenishment, etc...).
- Supervising the HR (working contracts / foreigner's working permit...).
Launch & management of an associative website for French expatriates which 9 months after its launch already had 4500 members, a team of 8 voluntary moderators in major cities of China & several partnerships for our members. Advertising revenues have already allowed us to reach break even.
In 2012 the site is the leader on the french speaking expatriates in China segment, with over 45 000 registered members, 250 000 posted messages, 200 000+ visitors each month.
2007 - 2007Passeport Chine is a company specialized in selling custom tours to China to B2B customers.
I was originaly recruited to start the online B2C department of this company.
The fast growth of this online B2C division and the need to cover more regions in asia led us to create a new brand and company named PlanetVeo fully focused on the online B2C market.

2006 - 2007Part time consultant work for US & French clients, consisting mainly in online marketing (SEO/SEM) & website management to finance my mandarin studies in Shanghai and my discovery of China.
2003 - 2006• Context: Start up company in the messaging software editor field (email, fax, SMS) for almost 3 years.
• Mission: Managing the web site, Online marketing (SEO/SEM). Taking part in software validation processes, partners’ demo & presentations... Customer contacts: audit, analysing customers’ needs, advising customers, coordinating & deploying solutions, commercial follow-up, technical support…
• Outcome: Beyond improving my technical, management & marketing skills, this experience increased my ability to take initiatives and to adapt to a large & evolving panel of tasks (start-up). It also gave me the opportunity to establish trust relationships with customers and to manage and work as a team.
