- Analysed suppliers and forwarders OTD performance and logistic quality through PLKZ tool, launched and followed up corrective actions together with purchasing and warehousing departments. Onsite meetings in case of serious variance vs. requirements
- Had daily meeting with warehouse to review pending issues met during receiving and shipping processes
Projects led:
- Consolidation of sea shipments from Italian suppliers, to reach FCL ratio. Result: 20% transportation costs savings reached on Italy-China lane by sea freight
- Consolidation of shipments from Europe to China to reduce customs clearance fee at destination port
- Set and updated logistics SOP with forwarder companies and overseas suppliers, as per customers requirements
- Levelled demand to suppliers to keep a stable inventory level and incoming volume
2009 - 2009- Collected and analysed inventory data of all plants in the business unit, reported to board of management monthly for logistics steering committee

- Launched and followed up of several projects of process optimization with forwarders: external milk run to reduce road freight costs; e-booking, e-invoicing
