Le Phoenix is the french section of a chinese kindergarten and primary school, founded in the former french concession of Shanghai by parents who'd rather see their children enrolled in schools in the city center.

As an administrative officer, I'm in charge of the whole daily organization of the french section (logistic, parents and teachers requests, payment follow up, registrations, budget, ... ), assisting the French Gestion Committee in their decisions regarding the school, and maintaining the link with our chinese partner.

Creation of the FLAM Shanghai association.

FLAM offers french classes for french children enrolled in non-french speaking schools.

We provide 2 hours/week classes to ensure that these children acquire the background that will allow them to reintegrate later the french education system, or even just to maintain their mother or father tongue.

So far, the organization keeps growing:
1 class in 2009
3 classes in 2010
5 classes in 2011

Each class has 10 children maximum.
Our trained teachers provide professional, pedagogical care, cultural informations and various activities in order to convey the pleasure of speaking, reading and writing in french.
