2005 - 20081. Establishment of a Chinese subsidiary:
§ Elaborated a business plan for the Chinese market: research for market data, quantitative and qualitative analysis, segmentation of the natural stone market, identification of the market niche to target, budget forecasting etc.
§ Set up the operations of the Chinese subsidiary: research and installment in offices, recruitment of Chinese employee, employee training.
2. Business development:
§ Executed “top the value chain” prescription work (follow-up of the potential customers met during the fairs; appointments with the business prospects) towards the decision makers of the construction industry : architects, interior designers, general contractors, real estate developers.
§ Executed “down the value chain” prescription work towards Chinese stone transformation factories
§ Guided and monitored a business development approach based on projects: analysis of customer preferences, definition of a pricing strategy adapted to the Chinese market specificities to maximize profit.
